“Good morning” staring into her eyes, standing close to the reception desk. She stares for a minute and turns away. Ok, I think we are getting somewhere. “Good morning, How are you today?” She replies with her eyes focused on the computer. “Well, you can at least reply while looking at the person who is curious about how you are doing,” I state in a gentle tone. She looks back and smiles “Where is this heading to?”. “Depends on your willingness to sail with me.”

I state with humor.

“Not working…” she asserts and we both laugh.

“At least it has been registered as a joke. How was the night out with friends?”I ask with a leaf of tension. Ain’t I exceeding the limit!

“It was fun.” She replies thoughtfully.

“Good morning, team” Why did he have to come at this time! This guy is a bug. With a pretentious smile, I reply “Good morning sir, How are you?”

“Am very well I must say. You and the team are certainly making progress.”

“Oh, thank you, sir. Am glad that you have noticed the efforts. We want to finish on time.” I reply with a genuine smile on this one. Who doesn’t want good feedback!

“Young lady, Are you alright?” “Am well, sir.” She replies. “Hope you are well, sir!” “Oh, yes,” he replies pleasantly. “Don’t let this young man confuse you.” Jackie and I laughed at the remark.

He finally departs and heads to his office and I proceed “So, I was saying…
