How was the presentation?” she inquires with ease as we sit on a woolen mat. I just finished my last pizza piece. Honestly, I ate more she didn’t eat much: probably it’s a diet thing. Close to each other, cuddling next to a fireplace: third date. Yes, I am winning. I think I can finally see a relationship in the making. We are more open and interactive. You never know what the future holds! On that note, I chuckle. “What’s fun?” She asks again. “Oh, sorry. Nothing important. About the presentation: all went well, hoping for the best.” I set my response as gaze into her eyes. After the first date, I had to browse and find cozy spots. Luckily found a few. “You will certainly get the deal done.” She speaks with assurance.
“I think we should try skydiving next time. It’s super cool. Have you tried it before?” I quietly wait for her response. “Hell no,” she replies with a chuckle. “There is no way I am going for that stuff,” she states plainly. “By the way, It’s a fun venture.” I re-echo my plan. “Not for me, too risky for my liking,” she reaffirms . “I guess we can try other stuff. ” I declare with disappointment.
“I have something to tell you,” she states, refrains from the cuddle and looks straight into my eyes, suddenly I notice a mood shift. What could be the problem! “Is there a problem?” I ask cautiously. “You know I have been trying…” she states with an anxious tone. “ what do you mean?” I try to state my inquiry calmly despite the picnic building within.
“I think I can’t go on with this”
