“If everything is well, think of a home,” she states with ease while we watch one of her favourites: a talk show that has been running for five years. How can one watch and not watch at the same time? I look at the screen with little consciousness.

“I am still trying…” moving to the kitchen where I spoon more bolognese, “to get,” “Do you know that you can run out? Get serious before I start inquiring about those plans.” she asserts plainly. I take my comfort.

With a turn, her stare meets my sight. “We need to be able to look the corners when we still can,” Her utterance with a pinch of humour covered with care.

“I will not run out,” I state causally with a smirk.

“That should not be the answer to everyone who asks,” “How?” bit bothered I ask.

“Not every mind has a good intention.” A warning I take with a wise thought. “Now let’s watch, enough talk,” She gives her all to the show.
